Rock with Ronan in Batterstown

Ireland's favourite broadcaster, Ronan Collins, presents a Showband hits nostalgia show in Caffreys Batterstown, a Valentine's cabaret, on Saturday 11th February next. Before his radio and tv broadcasting career, Ronan was an established singer and drummer with a number of Ireland's leading groups and showbands including Dickie Rock. His Joe Dolan impression is the best there is, and audiences are spellbound with the great variety of Ronan's rendition of the great showband hits. In addition, the Eugene McCarty backing band features vocalist Karen Black, of the Nevada showband, one of the best session singers in the business. Band leader Eugene has worked as musical director with such greats as Red Hurley, Dickie Rock and Brendan Bowyer.
