Nobber musician opens new school

A Nobber man is opening a new music school in Carlanstown with an open day on Saturday. The school will be held above Moran's Bar in Carlanstown, Kells, and will be run by Daniel Daly. The Daniel Daly Music School will provide lessons in drums and guitar, with the possibility of lessons for other instruments, subject to demand. Mr Daly has spent many years working with music groups from orchestras to jazz combos. He has worked with legendary blues man and founder of Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, Irish legends Bagatelle and The Pogues and with Shane MacGowan. He has also toured with Joe Jackson guitarist, Gary Sanford, Savoy Brown bassist, Ian Ellis, and Dave Swift from the Jools Holland Big Band. In the UK he also played with The London College of Music Big Band and toured with the world-renowned Sir Tim Rice.
