Royseven drop into Checkov's

Checkov's newly reopened coffee shop in Navan had a surprise visit from popular band Royseven when they landed in town to play The Palace recently. Royseven are a six-piece alternative rock band from Dublin, with hits such as 'Crash' and 'We Should Be Lovers', and albums 'The Art of Insincerity' (2006) and 'You Say, We Say' (2011). The band received the Hope for 2007 award at the 2007 Meteor Awards. They have enjoyed considerable success in Germany and played Oxegen in both 2007 and 2011 and Bud Rising in Ireland. Chekhov's reopened in October under the new management of Blair Clinton. Since opening its doors again the coffee shop has grown in popularity and is seeing a lot of old faces returning for its delicious and healthy menu. Blair has retained a lot of the old menu and has added a few dishes of his own. Chekhov's offers everything one would want from a full Irish breakfast, lunch or coffee with a delicious homemade scone or dessert. The menu offers a large selection of lunch options from sandwiches, paninis, salads or main course specials. New and exclusive to Chekhov's in the next few weeks will be a full range of chai teas and lattes and a selection of flavoured coffees. The bistro also offers free WIFI access to all their customers. They will also soon be offering an evening 'Lite Bites' menu, which will be similar to Tapas, and will include BYO wine. Check out facebook/chekovsbistro for all updates and daily specials.
