Two Londis stores bag Excellence Awards

Gillan's Londis Plus, Summerhill, won a Gold Award at the Londis Retailing Excellence Awards 2011. The store's fresh food offering was specifically highlighted when the store also scooped the fruit and veg category award. Looby's Londis, Dunboyne, was also recognised at the ceremony, picking up a Bronze Retailing Excellence Award. This year's awards were announced at the group's annual conference and Retailing Excellence Awards at the Malton Hotel in Killarney. Hosted by Irish broadcaster and journalist Marty Whelan, these awards acknowledge Londis stores that promote best practise standards across their business. The awards support Londis's aim to maintain and develop the best consumer experience in every store.
