Maguire injury update

Kilmessan man Jason Maguire, injured in a fall at Cartmel on Saturday, faces a longer than expected spell on the sidelines. Initially it was thought that he might return to action later this week, but now the injury appears to worse than first thought. Maguire parted company with Keyneema in a chase on Saturday and was airlifted to hospital in nearby Lancaster and later discharged. The Meath man got a second medical opinion at Gloucester Royal Hospital and it has now emerged that he has a injury to his spine.
