Karl Spain to reign in Slane

Slane Laughs returns to Boyle's tomorrow, Thursday 25th August, headlined by one of the stars of Irish comedy, Karl Spain. Best known for RTE shows such as 'Karl Spain Wants a Woman' and 'Karl Spain Wants to Rock', he is also a regular on 'The Panel'. A fantastic support line-up includes Kieran Lawless, who headlines all over Ireland and the UK and is a previous winner of Ireland's premiere comedy competition, Bulmers Nuthin' Butt Funny Award. The bill is completed by madcap Dubliner Greg Marks, who's just returned from a successful debut run at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. Alan Gernon, dubbed "one of the stars of the performance" by Hot Press magazine, will be Resident MC. Tickets are available from Boyle's for €7 or online at www.eventelephant.com/slanelaughssaugust.
