Fianna Fail cllrs outwitted themselves

Dear sir - I refer to your report in your paper of 6th August re: FF cllrs withdraw support for Senator Norris. I note that for the second time your reporter stated that Cllrs Reilly and Cassells "wrongfooted Fine Gael and Labour cllrs by proposing that Meath Co Council support Senator Norris." Please note that the correct report of what took place was that Cllrs Reilly and Cassells TRIED to wrongfoot the members of Meath Co Council by proposing that we nominate Senator Norris but failed in their efforts to do so. I might add that they showed very bad judgement in doing so. Yours, Clr William Carey, Enfield.
