Meath success at Perth

Paul Carberry and Gordon Elliott completed a first and last race double at Perth this afternoon. The Sean Gallagher-owned Brave Beauty (2/5) provided the ammunition for a first race win in a novices hurdle while South Wing took the concluding handicap hurdle. Carberry was denied a treble when he finished second in a novice chase with the 4/6 favourite Now This Is It. Last night at Sligo, Kells owner Norman Orminston was smiling when Blue Mimosa won from the front in the opening contest for jockey Sam James. Ormiston bred the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor which made the victory extra special. Tomorrow at Perth, Elliott and Carberry could be the ones to followi again in the opening race with Wikaala while Tony Martin could also be in the farme with Adrianeo which will have Ruby Walsh to assist.
