Jockey-turned -trainer Emmet Butterly

Butterly maintains winning sequence

Trim native Emmet Butterly, who now trains in Donegal, made a successful raid to Lingfield yesterday where he won the last race on the card with the gambled-on Mnarani. Butterly has now established a 100 per cent record at the track with three winners from three runners. This was Mnarani's second run of the trainer and his first win in 20 outings. Martin Harley did the steering and the duo could re-appear in a seven-furlong race at Down Royal on Friday night. Butterly has established a reputation as a specialist at Lingfield and Wolverhampton where he has enjoyed considerable success this year.
