Carrick Rovers and Woodview Celtic are edging closer towards a final day title showdown following victories against Clones Town and Duleek respectively. Carrick had the closest of calls before eventually getting the better of their Clones by 3-2 where brothers Wayne and Brendan Kerley got a goal each, along with Brian Marron. Clones replied courtesy of strikes from Gary McKenna and Stephen Smith. Woodview had a less strenuous affair securing all three points with a comfortable 4-0 success with the goals coming from Ray McCann, Declan Moran, Mickey O'Kane, and former Dundalk stalwart Tiernan Mulvenna. Torro gave themselves a lifeline with a resounding 6-0 win over Glenmuir. A victory in their final match away to Clones Town next week would bring them level with Glenmuir and a possible play-off to hold on to their status in the top flight.
