'Subhuman’ single release from pop duo Eden

Dublin-based duo Eden, made up of Ian Henderson from Kells and Mark Power, released their new single 'Subhuman' on Major Records in early November. The single is the second track to be taken from the new album 'Electric!' The release includes a new club mix of the previous single 'If I Was A Pet Shop Boy', the previously unreleased 'Haunted Heart' and the bands hit single in Germany 'Let It Flow'. The single is available through iTunes and all other digital outlets. Following a summer of touring Ireland and Germany, Eden launched their new single in Dublin on Friday night last in Whelan's of Dublin. Described as an intimate evening with 'Eden', the band will perform songs from previous album 'Desolate Shores' and showcase the new tracks in a stripped back show. Eden have also been busy on the other side of the Atlantic. The video for Eden's 'If I Was A Pet Shop Boy' has just been picked up in the US to be added to the club and retail play lists in over 5,000 outlets across North America. There is also a new Christmas mix of the single selected for a Christmas album to be launched in the US, while the title track 'Electric!' from the forthcoming album has been released on Synthetic Dance Music Vol 2, a new compilation album released in the US that celebrates bands who have helped shape and redefine synthpop over the last decade. Major Records is a Hamburg-based electronic music label which has worked with the likes of Erasure, OMD, Adamski and Midge Ure. They have become a strong player in Europe, having signed the likes of Ladytron, IAMX and the up and coming Nitzer Ebb.
