Birthday winner for Barry

Barry Geraghty celebrated his birthday in style today by landing another big race at Listowel. Despite the handicap of a broken nose, which he sustained yesterday, the Drumree jockey gave a Premiership performance when he guided St Devote to victory in the Guinness Handicap Hurdle. The horse is owned by a number of Premiership footballers including John O'Shea and Robbie Keane. Cheltenham in November is the next target for St Devote. Ballivor trainer Joanna Morgan was also on the mark at the Kerry track when Genesi won a handicap on thr flat. Listowel continues tomorrow.
