Laughter and fun in 'Babes in the Wood'

St Mary's Musical Society Pantomime 'Babes in the Woods' opens this week in Navan. Written by Killian Donnelly and directed by Adam Lynch, the show has a large cast of adults and children. Leading actors in the production are Ronan Walsh as Robin Hood and his arch enemy the Sheriff of Rottingham, played by Aidan Gately. Other roles include Maid Marion played by Aoife Hoey, Friar Tuck (Matt McGurk), and Little John (Sean Carey). Providing the laughs, Ronan Mooney takes on the role of Nanny Polly Tix and Barry Kelly plays Facebook the evil Sheriff's sidekick. Jack and Jill are played by Cian Blake-Lynch, Ali Moriarty, Frankie Nugent and Niamh Donnelly. 'Babes in the Wood' opens tomorrow (Thursday 21st January) at 8pm and runs nightly at 8pm until 31st January with matinee performances on Sunday 24th and 31st January at 3pm.
