Dunderry women on top in i105-107 radio challenge

Dunderry camogie team members were put through their paces in Knights Bar, Navan, recently, to win their place in the final of radio station i105-107's new competition 'Pull Hard'. They took on rival club Navan O'Mahonys. Each club was given a number of unique but GAA-oriented tasks to complete by i105-107's Breakfast Show hosts, comedians Bernard O'Shea and Keith Walsh. Dunderry got off to a flying start, picking up extra points in the 'bouncing the sliothar blindfolded with a back to front helmet' task and the 'passing the balloon between your head and chest' task. However, Navan O'Mahonys began to gain ground in the quick fire Blackboard Jungle - but it wasn't enough to clinch the title. Based in Athlone, i105-107 is now officially the fastest growing 15-34 year-old regional radio station in the country, according to the latest listenership figures. It broadcasts to eight counties in the midlands and north-east, including Meath.
