200 attend business evening in Ashbourne Marriott

DBASS Chartered Accountants, Ashbourne, in association with Bank of Ireland, held a free business advice evening last month at the Marriott Hotel, Ashbourne, attended by over 200 representing a cross-section of business in Meath and beyond represented. The topics covered included top tax tips, improving cashflow, e-marketing and employment law pitfalls. The guest speaker, Gavin Duffy, proved very thought-provoking as well as entertaining. A lot of networking was in evidence both before and afterwards, facilitated by a number of information stands at the event. "We were delighted to facilitate this opportunity for like-minded business people to meet and share their ideas. What was most pleasing was the positivity of those who attended, in difficult times," commented Dermot Brennan, senior partner at DBASS. Bank of Ireland collaborated with DBASS on this initiative for locally-based small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). The next event DBASS will be running is a free post-budget breakfast briefing on 10th December which will focus on the previous day's much-anticipated budget measures.
