Staff award for Flower Hill Maxol

Flower Hill Service Station in Navan has won a staff team award in the Maxol Retail Awards Scheme for the first half of 2009. The winning team was presented with 'One 4 All' gift vouchers to the value of €700 by Mark Walsh, retail area manager, Maxol, in recognition of their hard work and customer service. "Aidan Curtis of Flower Hill Service Station has every reason to be proud of his team who have been named winners in the Maxol Retail Awards Scheme for the first half of 2009," Mr Walsh said. "This award is based on the judging experience of mystery shoppers who visited the service station during the last six months." He added: "Maxol is proud to know that the excellent service with which our brand has become synonymous on a national level continues to be demonstrated by our retailers and their staff on a daily basis. We would like to congratulate Aidan and his team and look forward to hopefully seeing them as finalists for the Maxol All-Ireland Retailer of the Year Award." The team at Flower Hill Service Station performed particularly well throughout the year, achieving exemplary marks in judging criteria across two 'mystery shopper' visits. Commenting about the win, Aidan Curtis said: "We are delighted to have won this award, which indicates the high standards maintained on both our forecourt and in-store and indicates the commitment of our staff towards providing the best possible service to our customers. I would personally like to thank all of them for their hard work and dedication."
