Meath Enterprise Day in Dunboyne

The Meath Economic Forum will host the first ever Meath Enterprise Day this week in Dunboyne. The event is a day of free advice aimed at opening up opportunities in Meath for everyone from owner-managers to the unemployed. It will include talks, exhibitions and one-to-one mentoring from major organisations providing business support. The event will kick off with the official opening by Cllr John Farrelly at 2pm in Dunboyne Castle Hotel tomorrow (Thursday 15th October) and will run until 9pm. Guest speakers will take to the stage in a 'round robin' format from 2pm-5pm, offering support from their area of expertise. Among those involved will be Meath VEC, Meath Citizens' Information Centres and Enterprise Ireland. This will then be repeated from 6pm-9pm. Attendees will also be able to avail of the free individual business mentoring sessions, giving sound, practical advice on options attainable. Throughout the day, there will be six theatres open, where speakers and representatives of all the agencies will provide additional information on all supports available. This event is geared towards individuals who are considering starting a new business, in the early stages of business or owner/managers seeking support with business growth in the Meath area. The Meath Enterprise Day is a highly anticipated event and with strong, experienced guest speakers from relevant bodies booked for the day.
