Keith Barry in Kells this weekend

Since winning the coveted Merlin Award for 'Mentalist of the Year 2009', demand for Keith's performances has gone through the roof, resulting in many more dates being added all over Ireland in September including a show at the Headfort Arms, Kells. The Merlin Award is to magic what the Oscar is to the movies and is judged by the members of the International Magicians Society. Previous winners include Penn & Teller, Paul Daniels, and David Copperfield. Keith's own TV shows can now be seen in 82 countries worldwide including MTV and CBS in the USA, ITV in the UK and RTE in Ireland. 'Keith Barry - Direct from Vegas' features the best of Keith's magic including material from his time in Las Vegas in 2008, plus a compilation of brand new never-been-seen before mind illusions. Over the past two years Keith has been back and forth between Ireland and the States. He is now based in Hollywood where he has become a fixture at A-list events while he dazzles everyone with his amazing skills. He has performed for a wide range of celebrities. The entertainment industry has really begun to take notice of this new Irish talent and MTV is working on the development of a full blown series to air later this year.
