Oldcastle Chamber hosts business seminar

Oldcastle Chamber of Commerce is hosting a seminar this evening (Wednesday) which will provide valuable information for local businesses. The event takes place in The Bolies Hotel at 7pm and will include a talk by Damien Young, head of small business at Bank of Ireland. There will also be a talk by a representative of Darver Marketing and Business Consulting. Meanwhile, the Minister for Arts and Tourism, Martin Cullen, has agreed to a request from local election candidate, Oliver Fox, to meet with representatives of Oldcastle Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber had sought the meeting to discuss the future development of tourism in the area. Mr Fox said the potential for the development of tourism in the Oldcastle and the greater north Meath area would present many entrepenurial opportunities for businesses and services. 'With the new M3 nearing completion, the region will be easily and speedily accessible to the Irish and international tourist market. The diversity of the area"s heritage, culture and natural beauty is immense and unique and can make a major contribution to the local economy,' he said,
