Cappagh centenary book

Dear sir - I would be grateful if you would inform your readers that there has been a centenary book on Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital completed. It celebrates 100 years of care and service to the people of Ireland and includes the history of the hospital and many many photos of past and present staff and patients. Opened as an 'Open Air" hospital back in 1908 it has seen many re-incarnations over the past 100 years. In the early years children spent many years from early childhood to mid teens, being educated and treated with wind, sun and nutrition. Now patients, young and old, attend Cappagh for just a few days to have life changing surgery performed. As Cappagh"s patients have come from all over the country it is important that we let them know that this book is available. It costs €30( plus €7 for posting) and can be obtained at the main reception or by contacting Aisling Tunstead, at Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital, Finglas, Dublin 11, on (01) 814 0461. Yours, Monica Hurson Kelly, Project Co-ordinator, Roestown, Drumree.
