Boogie on down to the Hallowe'en Hooley '07

TRIM Castle Hotel is once again the venue for this year's bank holiday 'Halloween Hooley' on Sunday next, 28th October. The 'Hooley' is growing in popularity each year and this year's event should continue the trend with an impressive headline act.

'Boogie Nights' who proclaim themselves as 'the greatest disco party band in the world...ever!' is the featured act this year. They continue an impressive list of Hooley headline acts such as 'HotHouse Flowers', Jerry Fish and 'The Classic Beatles'.

Formed a number of years ago, the band are well known around the country and were voted by VIP Magazine as Ireland's number one party band. They have played extensively throughout Ireland and Europe, as well as a series of sell out gigs in the Gaiety Theatre and the Temple Bar Music Centre in Dublin.

Boogie Nights will ensure all Hooley revellers relive the '70's, performing classic tunes from the disco past, the band claim it is their soul duty to make you shake your booty!

So if you feel the need to 'Freak Out', 'Celebrate', 'Get Down on it', or simply get Lost in Music... then here's your chance to get down and dance, to the grooves that made you move in your platform shoes and your bell-bottom pants!

Last year's event proved a huge success with the added fancy dress theme and the organiser's of the Hooley are again encouraging people to come in their best fancy dress as there are some great prizes to be won on the night.

Tickets for the 'Halloween Hooley 2007' are now on sale at €25. They can be purchased from Trim Castle Hotel, Tobins Shop, Market St, Trim, or any Boardsmill GAA committee member.
