MRS B GREEN,
NAVAN & BRISBANE
THE passing in Queensland, Australia of a much-loved grandmother last July closed a link with one of Navan's older business families. Mrs Bridget Theresa (Terrie) Green was a member of the Everard family, which ran the public house and lived in an adjoining house on Market Square. She was in her 90th year and had been predeceased by her Cavan-born husband, Tommy, several years ago.
Mrs Green, her husband, two sons and a daughter resided in Bristol before emigrating to Australia almost 50 years ago, where they resided in Ipswich, Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. She passed away on 26th July last and her funeral took place to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Leichardt, where Mass was celebrated prior to interment in Wallerrill Park Cemetery.
