Easons to open in Navan next Tuesday

BEST-selling author Sinead Moriarty will sign copies of her new book 'In My Shoes' during the opening week of the new Eason store at Navan Shopping Centre. The new premises will open its doors next Tuesday, 21st August.

The 10,000 square feet store (in the former Homeworld premises) will be brimming with a range of books, stationery, newspapers and magazines, greeting cards, confectionery and art materials, promise the company.

Sinead Moriarty will be signing copies of her new book three days after the opening. Her book is Eason book of the Month for August and, next to the seventh Harry Potter book, is topping the Irish bestsellers' lists. She will be in Eason from 1pm on Friday 24th August.

Eason retail director, John Cudlip, said the firm was delighted to bring its range of products to customers in the ever-expanding town of Navan. Mr Cudlip said Eason had recognised the significant growth experienced in Navan in recent years and believed that the new store would offer the people of the area and Meath excellent new shopping opportunities.

Eason, he added, is thrilled to have an author of the calibre of Sinead Moriarty visiting the store in its first week.

The new shop will employ 15 staff at its prime Navan location. The design of the store is modern, spacious and will offer the best quality and standards of shopping to customers, Mr Cudlip added.
