Dunshaughlin golfer for Under-16 Italian open

Sean Doyle

Dunshaughlin golfer Sean Doyle is the only Leinster representative selected as part of six man team on the Irish U16 Golf Team to play at the Italian U16 Open in Biella, Italy, next week.

Sean was part of the successful Irish U16 Golf Team which won the Quadrangular four nations competition in Wales earlier this year, beating the favourites England on the last day and also after his consistent displays throughout the summer at various U16 and U18 events which has helped with his selection. Sean who is a member of Black Bush Golf Club, Dunshaughlin, has represented Black Bush with Ireland previously at U14 level.
He is really looking forward to the challenge at the Italian Open and knows it will be a great learning experience with the top players from all over the continent participating. Sean hopes with continued hard work and the great help and support from his parents, extended family and coach Shane O'Grady that there will be many more successes in the future.
