Yellow Furze celebrate fine win

The pupils from Yellow Furze had the distinction of capturing the last piece of silverware at the Meath Primary Schools finals at Pairc Tailteann this afternoon in Navan. Yellow Furze proved too strong for Rathbeggan in the Boys Div 3 decider where each team registered 12 scores. However, Yellow Furze scored the most goals and they won an exciting contest by 8-4 to 3-9 after leading by 4-3 to 1-3 at the interval. This was Yellow Furze's fifth final, they defeated Stackallen, Donore and Bohermeen on the way to today's decider.
