A new youth theatre company in Meath is hosting a “Try It For Free” workshop next Tuesday, October 17 at 6.30pm in the Solstice Arts Centre in Navan.
The company Youth Theatre @Solstice is a not-for-profit venture for young people of secondary school age in the Meath area, that will allow them to learn more about theatre and performance, actor training and script work, aswell as performing major productions every year.
There are also one-off specialised workshops throughout the year, aswell as theatre trips and a self-contained summer project. The group is affiliated with Youth Theatre Ireland and membership is €200 per year.
Places for the workshop on Tuesday are limited so those planning to attend should register by emailing youththeatreatsolstice@gmail.com. For more information about Youth Theatre @Solstice visit www.facebook.com/YouthTheatreatSolstice or @YTatSolstice/#TryIt4Free on Twitter.
