Moynalty wins county Tidy Towns title

Moynalty has won the title of Meath's Tidiest Town once again, and took a prestigious gold medal in  the  National Tidy Towns Awards, which were announced to day.
The north Meath village won the county award for the 22nd time in a row and held onto its gold medal for the 15th year.
Moynalty won the national title in 2013.
There was a strong delegation from Moynalty at the announcement of the awards in The Helix at DCU today.
Trim took second place in the county, just one point  behind Moynalty and Castletown Kilpatrick took third place.

Willkinstown won an Endeavour Award in this year's competition.


The overall National winner was Birdhill in Co Tipperary.
