The Friends of Meath Hospice launch their fundraiser

Hospice fundraiser tonight

The people of Kells will be swinging and jiving tonight - and all in a good cause.
A charity dance night in aid of ‘The Friends of The Meath Hospice Home Care Movement Committee’ is taking place in the Headfort Arms Hotel.
The 60’s & 70’s dance night is expected to draw a large crowd of jiving and traditional dance lovers.  The event is due to kick off at 10pm with the last dance at 1am.
Chairperson of the charity Mr Aidan Carry said that tickets at €15 are great value. Given how affordable the tickets are, and the fantastic charity that is due to benefit from ticket sales, I have no doubt that the event will be a sell out.”
“We are delighted as a committee to have managed to secure Eamon Toal to perform for us. We are also thrilled to be able to confirm that Ray Murtagh will be making a guest appearance.”
Secretary of the Committee, Abina O’Connell, explained the great work the Meath Hospice Homecare Movement does.
“This event is aimed at lovers of dancing, music and good fun. I know there will be plenty of expert dancers on the floor but there will be many novices also.
“As a committee we hope that the event will highlight the brilliant work the Meath Hospice Homecare Movement does. This charity provides really practical assistance to those who are undergoing cancer treatment. They assist our friends and our neighbours and this event is a fantastic opportunity for us all to support their great work,” he said.
