Tankardstown house chef takes top leinster accolade

A local chef has been crowned the best in Leinster at the Irish Restaurant Awards 2015.

Rob Krawczyk, head chef at Brabazon Restaurant at Tankardstown House, near Slane, collected his award in the DoubleTree by Hilton on Monday watched by 800 restaurateurs and industry players.

The Best Chef in Ireland award went to Mickael Viljanen of The Greenhouse in Dublin, while Best Restaurant in Ireland was won by Patrick Guilbaud, Dublin.
The 2015 awards process ran from February 6th until May 25th 2015.

The Irish Restaurant Awards are held by the Restaurants Association of Ireland and are the only restaurant awards in the country that carry out mystery guest inspections.
