Caitriona makes waves

Caitriona Gray from Dunmoe, Navan was making waves at the Meath Style Awards on Friday and she didn't know a thing about it until she was announced as the 'best dressed' lady at the prestigious annual evening of glitz and glamour.

“I'm totally shocked with this award,” the Dunmoe woman commented to Meath Style Awards compere Karina Charles when she was called up to the stage to accept the accolade.

The judges were on duty throughout the evening and they selected Caitriona for her 'understated elegance' but the winner was completely overwhelmed by the announcement.

However, she quickly regained her composure and was delighted to pose for the camera and answer questions – "I bought the dress in Hummingbird in Navan and I was really surprised to win this award,” she told the Meath Chronicle.
