Funeral arrangements for colm melia

The parish of Oldcastle is in a state of shock and grief at the tragic passing of Colm Melia (22), who died on Sunday evening following a single vehicle accident at Fennor Upper. 
His remains will be reposing at his residence today from 1pm until 9pm. The removal  will take place tomorrow morning to St Mary’s Church, Moylagh for funeral mass at 11am.
He will be buried afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The house is private tomorrow morning.
Mr Melia is a son of Tom and Rose Melia of Millbrook Road, Oldcastle.
The accident occurred at approximately 4am on Sunday morning on the Oldcastle to Virginia Road when the car, in which he was a passenger, collided with a wall.
The other occupant of the car, a 24 year old man was also seriously injured. He is still in hospital, and his condition has been described as stable.
