Semi-final time on Dancing with the Stars

It’s the semi–final time and the final four celebrity couples will all dance twice in this week’s Dancing with the Stars show.

The second dance gives each couple one more chance to earn enough points to try stay out of the dreaded dance off.

So far Aidan O'Mahony is the only celeb who has managed to avoid the dance off. Will it be his turn this week? As usual our judges Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Julian Benson will have the final say as to who stays and who goes.

In keeping with St Patrick’s Day celebrations each couple will dance to an Irish song, and viewers can look forward to another show stopping jacket from judge Julian as he celebrates St Patrick’s Day in style. He will wear a specially designed hand embroidered creation from Claire Garvey.

Denise McCormack has been getting lots of support from her colleagues on Red Rock and they have been putting together fun videos for her fans.

Denise and partner Ryan will be dancing Contemporary Ballroom to Take Me to Church by Hozier. She received her first perfect score last weekend scoring a ten from each of the judges. Can she do the same this weekend?

When Aidan O’Mahony signed up for DWTS he never thought he would get this far, he has had some ups and downs yet here he is in the semi final.

Having just become a dad he spent most of the week in Killarney spending time with his family and of course rehearsing with Valeria. He will be jiving with Valeria to Drive it like You Stole It from Sing Street.

Dayl Cronin might be able to get some dancing tips from Nicky Byrne as he and Ksenia will be dancing the Rumba to What About Now by Westlife. Dayl has really shown he can strut his stuff, he was the first contestant to get a perfect score of 30 points on switch up week with Valeria.

Aoibhín Garrihy is somewhat of a darling to the judges, she has consistently impressed them every week with performances that you would see on the professional circuit. Vitali Kozmin and Aoibhin will be dancing Contemporary Ballroom to Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O'Connor.

And as it’s ‘Double Dance’ weekend, all of our couples will dance again with Denise & Ryan dancing the Cha Cha Cha to Fever by La Lupa. Aidan & Valeria will dance the Viennese Waltz to Somebody to Love by Queen. Dayl & Ksenia will Quickstep to Peroxide Swing by Michael Buble, while Aoibhín & Vitali will dance the Charleston to Do Your Thing by Basement Jaxx.
The PRO danceers will dance the Tango to Orinoco Flow by Enya
