Teenager Adam Gilsenan and not so much a teenager anymore Gary Rogers will be making the journey to Azerbaijan next week and the week after respectively - both hoping for success.

Bohermeen Cycling Club's Adam Gilsenan will be in action for Ireland at the European Youth Olympics in Baku (Azerbaijan) next week.

Gilsenan is one of a three riders on the Irish team that will compete in an individual time-trial over a 75km route with the action set to start on Tuesday 23rd July.

The following night(Wed 24th) Rogers will be in action on home turf at Oriel park in Dundalk as the Irish champions host Qarabag from Azerbaijan in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
