Josh Callally shows a clean set of wheels to oppostion

Navan RC riders had a hugely successful day at the Brendan Campbell Memorial race in Donore where the talented Josh Callaly stormed to victory.

Callally took the honours in the u-12 race with an excellent performance and another navan cyclist Joseph Mullen was back in fourth place.

This was an impressive display from Callaly and he thoroughly deserved to take the spoils in what was a good event for Navan cyclists.

In the girls section Zoe Shakespeare proved victorious in the u-12 race with Niamh McGuinness in second.

Daragh Lenehan was fifth in the u-14 with Patick Heaney in sixth while in the u-16 race Sean Lenehan took fourth.

In the senior race Keith Larkin was second in the A3 section while Sean Lynch was fifth in the A4.


THIS WEEKEND

Navan RC will turn their attentions to the Mountnugent Grand Prix on Saturday 4th August.

Organisers Joe Moynagh and Raef McEnroe will once again use a local circuit for three laps of racing with prizes on each lap. 

Sign on the for the race will be at the Bridge Inn and all grades of cyclist are catered for.
