Free pass to Fairyhouse for BoyleSports Grand National Trial winner at Punchestown

Race sponsor BoyleSports is to offer free entry to the BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, 22nd April, to the winner of the €100,000 BoyleSports Grand National Trial Handicap Chase at Punchestown on Sunday 10th February. Entries for the race close this Wednesday, 23rd January.

“We are delighted to be able to link our sponsorship of the BoyleSports Grand National Trial with our flagship sponsorship of the BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday by offering free entry to the winner of our Punchestown race early next month,” said Leon Blanche, head of communications at BoyleSports.

Last year, the BoyleSports Grand National Trial was won by Folsom Blue, owned by the Core Partnership, whose members include Racing TV’s Gary O’Brien. On his next start, Folsom Blue finished a close fourth in the BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse.  

The BoyleSports Grand National Trial at Punchestown  will be run over a distance of 3 miles 4½ furlongs and boasts a total prize fund of €100,000.

The €500,000 BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday is Ireland’s richest National Hunt race. The highlight of the season, it is run over a distance of over 3 miles 5 furlongs.
