Five Gaeil Colmcille players on team of the week

On a weekend decimated by more storms many of the scheduled A FL games did not go ahead, but on Friday night last Gaeil Colmcille and Navan O'Mahonys got out ahead of storm Jorge and played an exciting Div 1 opener with the Kells men scoring another impressive win over their Navan rivals.
The win on Brews Hill earned five Gaeil Colmcille players places on this week's Meath Chronicle Team of the Week, while three O'Mahonys players also impressed Meath Chronicle Sports editor Conall Collier enough to earn places on this week's selection.
Dunderry also scored an impressive win over St Patrick's in A FL Div 2 to secure three places on the team, while Moylagh's Div 3 win over St Colmcille's second string earned places for three of their stars.

As ever the Meath Chronicle sports team are reliant on PRO submissions when it comes to picking the team of the week, so to give your club and star player the recognition they deserve be sure to submit reports on your games to sports@meathchronicle.ie before 11am on Mondays.
