Meath's Amy Gaffney secures possession against Kildare.

Goals galore as Meath chalk up big win

It was all one-way traffic as Meath hammered Kildare in Group 2 of National Camogie League Div 2 at Dunganny today with Sinead Hackett helping herself to 5-5.

The big win not only ensured that Meath made it three wins from three games played but that they greatly boosted their scoring difference with Kilkenny to come in the next round.  Div 2 is broken up into three groups with only one team emerging from each group. There are five teams in Meath's group.

Kildare had no answer to Meath's power and the game was all but over at the interval when Brendan Skehan's team led 4-11 to 0-1.

While Hackett was in unstoppable form Aoife Minogue also capped an outstanding display with 3-3 while Jane Dolan also hit 3-3 with Amy Gaffney, Kristina Troy and Aidin Slattery contributing points in this very one-sided affair played in very conditions. Kildare's three points were scored by Leah Sutton.
