New jersey revealed in the nick of time for Christmas

With a respectful nod to the past Meath GAA have released images of their slick new football jersey which goes on sale from Monday.

The new jersey incorporates the square pattern made famous by the teams of the late 1980s that proved t be so successful, while also bringing the shirt into the 21st century with different shading to make it unique.
So far the new design has received mixed reviews, but we here in Meath Chronicle towers will certainly be putting it on our lists to Santa.
