Nevin points Moynalty to victory

Anthony Nevin emerged as the hero as Moynalty defeated Carnaross by 0-15 to 1-11 in the JFC  at Pairc Tailteann today.

Nevin sent over the winning point as Moynalty defeated their neighbours who finished with 14 men after Pierce Fleming was red-carded early in the second-half.

Carnaross were ahead by 1-6 to 0-8 at the interval with Patrick McDermott finding the net.

When referee Padraig Coyle issued a red card to Fleming it meant Carnaross had to get through the final 19 minutes a man down.

In the dramatic last action Nevin sent over the winning point.
