Summerhill and Dunshaughlin enjoy minor success

Summerhill and Dunshaughlin went home with the silverware from two MFC finals at Pairc Tailteann today. 

Summerhill won the Div 3 final when they defeated Oldcastle 1-9 to 0-11 in a thrilling contest with Luke Moran getting the Summerhill goal and Eoghan Frayne slotting over seven points. Colin Howdon scored five for Oldcastle with goalkeeper Ross McCann making a series of fine saves. 

In the Div 2 final that followed Dunshaughlin defeated North Meath Gaels 1-12 to 0-6 with Matthew Costello getting their goal in the first-half. Luke Mitchell also contributed eight points for the winners, three frees, one '45.'
