Meath ladies set for trip to Moate

Meath will face Clare in the ladies All-Ireland IFC quarter-final at Moate tomorrow in a double-header at the venue.

Roscommon will play laois in the other quarter-final.

Meath finished second behind Roscommon in Group 4 but will present stiff opposition for Clare who came through a four-team qualifier pool.

The Banner County finished on top of the pile in a group that also contained Down, Kildare and Wexford.

The winner will take on Roscommon or Laois in the semi-final on Saturday 25th August.

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association confirmed the following arrangements for the forthcoming TG4 All-Ireland intermediate and senior semi-finals.
 
Tyrone will play Sligo in the first of the 2018 All-Ireland intermediate semi-finals on Saturday 18th August.

A week later, Saturday August 25 at 1pm, the second intermediate semi-final will be played, featuring the winners of the Clare v Meath and Roscommon v Laois quarter-final fixtures.

The senior championship semi-finals will now be played on Saturday 25th August at 2.45pm and 4.30pm.

Cork will play Donegal at 2.45pm and the winners of the remaining quarter-final fixtures – Dublin v Kerry and Galway v Mayo – will feature in the other semi-final at 4.30pm.
