Matthews of Oldcastle conduct their annual two-day antique and interiors auction this Saturday and Sunday, commencing 2:30pm each day. With over 1,000 lots ranging in date from the Georgian to modern, and estimates from €20 to €20,000, it promises to be an interesting event. The auction will also include the entire contents of 17 Temple Gardens, Dublin 6. following the successful sale of the property. This property, in the same family ownership for 116 years, has supplied some of the more interesting lots of antiques in the auction.
The estate jewellery section of the auction starts on Sunday at 1pm and will comprise of approximately 200 Lots, including some fine diamond rings and collectable vintage watches.
