There's a new Vue in Ashbourne opening this weekend

Incredibles

Meath movie-goers will be treated to a new viewing experience this month, as Vue announce that its new Ashbourne site will open this weekend.

The much-anticipated announcement comes after the news that Vue Entertainment is acquiring the two-site cinema circuit Showtime Cinemas in Ireland, with one site located in Ashbourne and the other located in Limerick.

Vue will take over the operation of the Ashbourne site on 2 July, when the venue will be closed for a short time, officially re-opening on the weekend of 6 July. The Ashbourne site is the only cinema in the region and has six screens.

Nigel Drake, general manager at Vue Ashbourne says ‘We are delighted to be bringing the best in big screen entertainment to Ashbourne and myself and my team can’t wait to welcome people to enjoy both the latest blockbusters and event cinema titles including opera, ballet and theatre.’

Not-to-be missed upcoming releases include Incredibles 2, Mamma Mia: Here we Go Again and Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
Tickets are available at www.myvue.com ;
