BREAKING: Four houses and two cars damaged in Ratoath fire

RTE is reporting that four houses have been damaged and two vehicles burned out following a fire at Meadowbank Hill in Ratoath.

"Gardaí have said the fire, which started at around 3am this morning, may have been started deliberately," it is reported.

The four houses in the Fairyhouse Road estate were evacuated, with no injuries reported.

At least one of the houses has been extensively damaged and a car and van parked outside were completely destroyed by the blaze.

Several units of the Fire Brigade are still at the scene.
