Ratoath woman on 'The Rotunda' tonight

A Ratoath woman who underwent a kidney transplant 24 years ago, will feature on the RTE Two TV series The Rotunda, tonight at 9.30pm.
Lorraine Hayes (34), a self employed beautician from Ratoath, who received a kidney transplant when she was ten years old, realised her lifelong dream of becoming a mother when she gave birth to baby James who is now four years old.
There was further joy for Lorraine and her husband when their second child Lara was born eight months ago.  Thanks to her donor, the happy mother of two is enjoying the successful longevity of her kidney transplant which she underwent 24 years ago.
The popular programme looks at lorraine's health care journey - she was always worried she might not be able to have a baby, or if she did, that her transplant might be put in jeopardy.
