Several well-known Navan families suffer bereavements

Several prominent Navan families have suffered bereavements this weekend.
The funeral took place in St Oliver's Church, Blackcastle, this morning of John Foley, of Blackcastle, a former captain and president at Royal Tara Golf Club.
He is survived by his sons, Des, a director of services at Meath County Council, Brian and Peter, and their families. It is the second loss to the family in the last year following the sudden passing of his grandson, Colin, last Christmas.
The death has occurred of Alice Mulvany, formerly of The Tailteann public house, Navan and The Lisdoo Arms, Dundalk. Wife of Tony and mother of David, Stephen, Mary-Theresa, Morris and Nigel, she is reposing at her residence on Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning to St Mary's Church, Navan arriving for 10 o'clock Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in Kilmessan Cemetery.
Pearl Forde, Parnell Park, died at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan. Predeceased by her husband Dermot, she is survived by her sons, David, Gordon, Lesley and Wayne, former county councillor, and extended family.
She is reposing at David and Mary's home, Abbey Grove, on Monday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St Mary's Church for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery.
Angela Coldrick (nee Connaughton), Woodlands, Navan and formerly of Clara Road, Moate, Co. Westmeath, also died on Saturday.
Wife of the late Paddy, and mother of Vincent, Noel, Ken and Pat, the well-known classical guitarist, she is reposing in the Fitzsimons Funeral Home on Monday from 4pm, with removal St Mary's Church, arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass  is on Tuesday at 10am,  followed by burial in Rosemount Cemetery, Co Westmeath (arriving at 12.30pm approximately).
The death has occurred of Brian Murtagh, Blackcastle Manor, Navan, and formerly of Faughan Hill, Bohermeen, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.  He is reposing at the home of his  parents, Johnny and Kathleen, Faughan Hill, Bohermeen, on Sunday from 2-8pm. Removal on Monday morning, arriving to St Ultan’s Church, Bohermeen, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery
