Devastation in Navan and beyond as crash victim named as Ena Tobin

There is incredible shock across the county as following the devastating news that Ena Tobin from Navan has been named as the victim of last night’s road traffic collision near Lobinstown.
Ena (Ann) is sister of Simonstown Gaels and Meath footballer, Sean Tobin, and all games involving the club this weekend have been cancelled as a mark of respect to the Tobin family.
The huge blow to the family comes just over five years after the passing of her father, Paddy,  who ran Meath Cleaning Supplies and Services with her mother, Mary, before his untimely death following cancer.
Ena, her sister, Sonya, and brother, Sean, organised a run in Blackwater Park, Navan, in his memory.
This morning, in a tribute, Simonstown Gaels say:  "On behalf of the membership of the club we wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to Séan and the Tobin family on the tragic death of Ann (Ena) Tobin last night. Séan is an integral part of our senior team and the club and the family have been strong supporters throughout the years. As a mark of respect our MFL Division 1 Final vs St. Colmcilles and SFC match against Wolfe Tones this weekend have been postponed."
