Man killed in port tunnel accident named as Meath man Stephen Fisk

Motorcycle fans have paid tribute to the late Stephen Fisk of Summerhill on their Facebook page with a poignant picture of happier times.
South Meath is in shock this week with news of the death of Stephen Fisk in a motorcycle crash near the Dublin Port Tunnel in Dublin on Monday morning.
Amigos Moynalvey Motorcycle Enthusiasts posted on Facebook " It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of Stephen Fisk, our friend and long term motorcycle enthusiast, who lost his life tragically in a road traffic accident in the Dublin Port Tunnel.
"RIP Stephen we will miss you greatly.... so long Amigo.
"Our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out from all of us to all his family on the loss of their loved one."
Stephen, who was in his fifties, was a local businessman who was well known in the motor trade and as a biking enthusiast.
The crash took place at about 10:30am on Monday morning and the southbound tunnel remained closed until 3pm as emergency services attended the scene
The single-vehicle crash occurred near the north bore of the Port Tunnel.
His body was removed to Dublin City Morgue where a post mortem was carried out.
The road at the scene was closed for a period of time while a Garda forensic team carried out an examination.
