Death of MJ McGearty of Ballivor

The death has occurred of MJ McGearty, Ballivor community figure, GAA man, historian, and retired Kildalkey school teacher.
    
MJ  (Michael Joseph) McGearty, of Kinnegad Road, Ballivor, died on Tuesday at Blackrock Clinic.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes, family, Ann, Claire and Michael, grandchildren,  Saoirse, Oisín, Katie and Hannah, daughter-in-law Triona, brothers Patsy and Fr. Sean, sisters Berna, Josie, Bridie and Maureen, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Heffernan's Funeral Home, High Street, Trim (C15 HDT1) on Thursday from 4.30pm to 6pm followed by removal to the Church of St Columbanus, Ballivor arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to St Vincent de Paul.
