Death of George Foster of Navan furniture fame

George Foster, Ferndale, Navan, who has died, was part of a famous Navan furniture family.

He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday 9th January.

George is very sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, daughters Ann and Claire, sons George, John and Ruarí, daughter-in-law Andrea, son-in-law Charlie, his adored grandchildren Karl, Kevin, Gary, Fiona, Sarah, Rebecca, Jonathan, great-grandson Alex, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.

Reposing in the Fitzsimons Funeral Home, Navan this Thursday evening from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock. Funeral Home private on Friday morning. Removal on Friday morning to arrive in St. Mary’s Church, Navan for Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to Cancer Research. House private please.
